what weapons is most suitable for a person who is good at judo...? can i have suggestions?|||As a person that has done judo and was pretty good. I was ranked 5 in the country when actively competing. The only weapons we used in judo were and in this order: our minds and our bodies.|||I would recommend a kubotan. Small but effective for hitting pressure points and adding a little extra pain to a grip. You can also use for leverage in throws and to lock joints. Lastly it can always stand in for a little filler if want your punch to pack a little something extra.

Beauty part with this weapon is that it is completely legal (in most places) and you can even carry it on your key chain.|||Well...Judo is a grappling art that subdues the opponent, Judo is descended from Jiujitsu, Samurai would not usually use their Katana or any long weapon while grappling, just their arms and legs, once they had their opponent subdued, they would use a Wakizashi or a Tanto to finish them off. So, I guess a Knife to deal the finishing blow. Judoka aren%26#039;t trained well in striking and standing attacks, more in standing throws, grappling, etc. so a bo or any long weapon would be 2nd to useless. And a Katana would be too risky to use while grappling.

*Kubotan is a very viable modern weapon for Judo, excellent actually, and far more legal than carrying around a Tanto or Wakizashi. Good catch.|||if your talking about a martial arts weapon.

i would go with a katana, jo or hanbo

the movements of these weapons fit nicely with jujitsu and i%26#039;m assuming judo will go with them.

the katana movements can also be use with a baseball bat|||%26quot;Judo%26quot; Gene LeBell developed what he refers to as a %26quot;grappling club%26quot;.

http://www.genelebell.com/product-22.htm...||| Jet 1-17...joking...maybe a Katana or Bo (Jo)|||MY FAVORITE WEAPON IS THE ONE I HAVE IN MY HANDS AT THE TIME! (pen, book, whatever is around)|||I think a SIG 45 would do well
