Can someone recommend a good BJJ or Judo dojo/instructor in Atlanta?

My one friends has been teaching martial arts for 20 years, and he told me I need to be careful when picking a martial arts place to find a good instructor who has trained from proven martial artists.

Now I am paranoid about committing to possibly one of the dojos with a %26quot;fake%26quot; grand master as he calls them. Does anyone know a reputable place I can learn BJJ or Judo in the Atlanta area?|||There are a bunch. Alliance Jiujitsu probably has the best BJJ program in the area. They always take first in gi competition in NAGA.

Atlanta Martial Arts Center is in Woodstock, and trains both Judo and BJJ. It%26#039;s a small, family-like school.

Unit 2 Fitness is another good BJJ school, and the BJJ teacher has fought twice in the UFC back in the day.

Knuckle Up is sort of the %26quot;franchise%26quot;, and they%26#039;re not bad, but I%26#039;d recommend them last. They tend to attract the most meat-heads. However, they%26#039;re probably the cheapest and most available.

Just google %26quot;Judo%26quot; or %26quot;BJJ%26quot; and %26quot;Atlanta%26quot;. These are just the places I know of and have trained at.|||I just joined francis fong academy in atlanta... they teach BJJ and have a very credible BJJ instructor..... his name is Master Ricardo Murgel and is a 7th degree black belt... check this site and read for your self..http://www.francisfongacademy.com/index....

hope this was some help|||Actually, one of the world麓s best BJJ school is located in Atlanta: Alliance BJJ. The head of instructors is Master Romero Cavalcanti, better know as Jacar茅, who is black belt from Rolls Gracie.

If you want to try BJJ, learn from the best, you should make a visit there.
