Am I to old to go to judo tournaments?

Hi I am 23 years old and I am interested in doing judo competitvely its not like I want to be in the olympics but I dont know if I can be in tournaments because I am just starting out at this age. I have a back ground in muay thai and kenjitsu and I would like to enter in the ufc someday am I to old to train agian and compete?|||No!





23yrs old is still young enough.





Good luck and best wishes :)***|||Your probably still okay but you have to understand that most Judo professionals learn from an early age. Some learn in Schools full time.


Judo is an awesome Martail Art and you are still young enough to learn the moves for a defensive point of view.


I personally do Krav Maga and love it. You are young enough to go in to any art and do well. Ju Jitsu etc.





Good Luck|||well no... you are not too old to join ... i am also in karate .... a bue belt ... my sir or sensie joined and started karate at the age of 21.... so you are probably not to old .,....as it is you have a background of martial arts so you also have an advantage and that proofs that you are not too old... my sir also knows kickboxing and several style in karate .... n he also knows judo and jujitsu... so then you see you are not old ... man u are 23 doenst mean that u are old .. instead as far as i know it still comes under young column ... so then dont worry ...and also remember that even people in sixties or seventies persue martial arts ... so then u see...|||HAHAHAHAHAHA!





No, the ripe old age of 23 still isn%26#039;t too old to enter tournaments. We have a Judo master down here named Bob Byrd who%26#039;s gotta be in his 70%26#039;s, and still competes.|||u can be old as u want, trust me my dad is 42 and he does judo with us and my brother is 6 and he also does judo. i a 12 and i do judo and compete. just think %26quot;your never too old%26quot;|||As a person in the over 40 club, you are not too old. Not even close to being too old.|||never too old unless your like 60 or 70. this question has been asked like nearly 6-7 times a week. too old to go judo, too old to go taekwondo, too old to do karate, too old to ask these types of questions|||No, 23 is alright, really, your not even middle aged.
