Where is a good place to learn judo?

I%26#039;m 20 and have no history in judo. I would like to find an adult entry- level class, i don%26#039;t have much money, something cheap would be good. and i would like the classes to be with in a 30 min drive range of Kansas City, KS. Can anyone point me in the right direction?|||I have no idea what there is in Kansas City, but there is a site I will display below that might help you out. And I don%26#039;t think you should be worrying about the cost. Instructors that charge a lot of money are in it for the money, you can find lots of places that charge a much more modest fee for good instruction. In the martial arts world, more money doesn%26#039;t mean you are getting the best instruction. Some times you are just contributing to a mega corporation, a wal mart-ial arts school. I would stay away from those places. See if this site helps...

Judo is great fun and you learn a lot of little things, like how to move, how to maintain balance...and lots of ground work. Be sure that your dojo also spends time on the ground. A good judoka should be well rounded, it seems many just emphasize the throws these days.

|||google map it.

Also look for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a lot of the sweeps are derived from judo.

Oh and it%26#039;s kind of hard to find %26quot;Cheap Martial Arts%26quot; Expect to pay over $100 a month, if you pay less it%26#039;s probably a crap school and crap instructor.

Over 100 but less than 180.|||ok well find a good non profit Judo place with friendly coaches but make shore it has a good reputation the good thing about non profit is that you only have to pay for your grading your suit and for registration |||No you don%26#039;t have to expect to pay over 100 dollars. Some places yes, but usually they have plans that you go on. Spectate the class for a couple days or weeks so you know what you%26#039;ll actually be doing|||Never underestimate your local YMCA, sometimes $10 bucks a month or free if they have a Judo class.

But here is a good one; http://www.welcomematjudoclub.com/|||you want brazilian, or russian sambo? or japanese traditional judo? or what? search all these topics in a yahoo search |||Try the WELCOME MAT JUDO %26amp; JIU JITSU CLUB.|||Sorry I am in Rio de Janeiro.

If you live here, you talk a lot of place.

only mourning Jiu-Jitsu|||You mean judon%26#039;t know?
