How do I get from brown belt to 1st dan in judo?.?

By doing the same thing you have been doing to get to brown belt.

Keep training, you%26#039;ll get graded, and..... voila!!|||Train!!!|||Hope I have picked up your intention of question here: I have only heard of the phenomenon of the difficulty %26#039;some%26#039; people have had of moving from the brown belt over to the coveted black belt. Like so much in martial arts it is a mind thing and hope you are just venting your very normal worries here. Hope that helps|||Learn the Dan Grade theory..

Then start grading for it..

It%26#039;ll take a fair few gradings to get it tho..

But train extra hard and hit all the gradings you can!|||Dedication and hard work. There is no easy route to any dan grading in any martial art.|||Simple - Train harder and become more skilled. There are no shortcuts.|||If you have gone all the way from white to brown, why are you asking?|||You have to go to more gradings and this time fight for points. If you win your fight then you get the same points as what you win it by - e.g. if you win by ippon you get 10 points. You have to get a total of 100 points to get your first dan black belt. At the same time as you are doing this (not always on the same day) you have to take a dan grade theory test. If you pass this and have 100 points then you get your black belt........... easy eh?
