There%26#039;s a perfect throw, and I feel like laughing. I don%26#039;t know why, maybe because I thought it was fun, or I was scared and the fear goes away after getting thrown. (then it goes back and I%26#039;m laughing) Do you feel like that?|||You might be sadomasochistic, which means you like giving and receiving pain.
Enjoy.|||Mabye its because you enjoy what your doing.|||I sometimes laugh when my Wing Chun instructor starts wailing on me.. I think it%26#039;s because I start thinking something like %26quot;geeze, this is ridiculous, I don%26#039;t have a chance!%26quot; and then I give up trying to fight back. That%26#039;s about the time I laugh. When I realize my efforts are futile.|||NO, I NEVER GET THROWN!|||I remember this from my judo/aikido days. I think it is a combination of endorphins and a little bit of euphoria from the sense of accomplishment/relief when you and your partner get a good throw down. Like the song goes... it hurts so good.|||I hear you man.
There have been times when I%26#039;ve experienced something....whether it be a throw, a strike, a weapons attack....etc, and truly...you just feel like laughing when the technique is finished.
I think it%26#039;s a bit of adrenaline and your brain going %26quot;what the f happened?%26quot; in one.|||All the time. My instructor just looks at me like I%26#039;m crazy, which I may be, but for me its just fun to get thrown. Do you find you laugh more or less after a particularly hard throw? And look at the bright side, if you ever get thrown in a non-studio situation, and start laughing, its better than crying.|||Perhaps because it is thrilling.
When I get tossed there is that moment mid-throw that feels like a roller coaster. You feel weightless in your belly.
I feel it too. It is a rush.
Of course we are talking about friendly tosses here that occur in training.
In the street I do not think it would be fun if you landed on concrete whilst the person throwing you is trying to smash your brains out.|||The human psyche has various ways of handling overwhelming events, one of which is laughing. The psyche will go through various %26quot;phases%26quot; of defending itself, and laughing is one of it%26#039;s ways. God Bless you.|||it can be your way of dealing with embarassment... i have seen others who laugh when they mess up at something, its cool if you laugh at it once in a while but some people do it all the time, over the most ridiculous stuff|||i%26#039;ve felt that ziplining and at other risky sits. and i laugh when i%26#039;m nervous.
i think it%26#039;s adrenaline and it%26#039;s a pretty healthy way for our bodies to dispell excess energy.|||Maybe it%26#039;s the exhilaration of flying through the air with the greatest of ease-only if the landing weren%26#039;t so bad!|||You are one tough guy! You laugh in the face of pain!
